In a demonstration of cultural solidarity and historical ties, the UAE is set to host a grand Diwali celebration in Dubai on Saturday. The event, organized by 'Emirates Love India' with backing from the UAE Government Media Office, promises to engage thousands in a spectacular display.
Prominent figures, including Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Sunjay Sudhir, India's Ambassador to the UAE, will be among the guests. The celebration aims to highlight the rich Indian cultural tapestry, featuring various artistic and musical narrations that underline the robust UAE-India relations.
This event coincides with historical collaborations that date back to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's pivotal visit to India in 1975, leading to significant bilateral agreements like the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. This synergy is expected to boost non-oil trade to USD 100 billion by 2030, reinforcing the strong bond between the two nations.
