In the wake of recent terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, Nasir Aslam Wani, advisor to the Chief Minister, has strongly condemned the violence, asserting it undermines humanity and peace. He emphasized the region's desire for lasting peace, highlighting the longstanding conflict impacting J&K's people for decades.
Farooq Abdullah, President of the National Conference, echoed these sentiments, urging those responsible for the violence to choose friendship instead. Abdullah, addressing ANI, expressed the necessity for a proper solution to the ongoing strife, noting the region's troubled past and rejecting any association with Pakistan. He appealed for peace, extending apologies to affected families.
The Kashmir valley witnessed another violent episode in Baramulla, where an attack on a military vehicle resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and two civilian porters, while others were injured. In a separate incident in Pulwama, a laborer was shot and injured, adding to the region's escalating tension.
