Guyana Enhances Oil Export Deals With BB and JE Energy

Georgetown, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Guyana's Ministry of Natural Resources announced that BB Energy and JE Energy will market some of the country's crude oil production over the next year.

The contracts emerged after a tender attracting 27 bids, with notable participants like Shell and TotalEnergies. BB Energy will focus on oil from Liza Unity and Prosperity, while JE Energy will handle the Liza Destiny output.

The agreements, linked to projects controlled by an Exxon Mobil-led consortium, offer a significant revenue increase for the government. Guyana's light sweet crude, especially Liza and Unity Gold grades, remains popular among refiners.
