An explosion rattled Prashant Vihar near Rohini in New Delhi on Sunday, leaving damage to vehicles and property but thankfully causing no injuries, according to police reports. The blast led law enforcement agencies, including the Delhi Police, National Investigation Agency (NIA), and National Security Guard (NSG), to launch a thorough investigation.

Officials disclosed the discovery of low explosives at the scene, materials commonly used in improvised bombs. Teams from the police, NIA, and NSG are exploring all possibilities, including a potential terror attack. The deliberate timing and location of the explosion suggest it was intended to convey a message without causing casualties.

Experts suspect the use of a crude homemade bomb comprising ammonium phosphate. Forensic teams from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and NSG have collected samples to identify the explosive substances. The incident, occurring near a CRPF-run school, led to heightened security measures across the city, especially with Diwali festivities approaching.
