Union Health Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda inaugurated the BJMFCON 2024 conference in the capital on Sunday, organized by the Bihar and Jharkhand Medical Forum (BJMF). During his address, Nadda emphasized the government's efforts to broaden the health sector, moving it from isolation to a comprehensive approach under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Highlighting the shift initiated by the New Health Policy of 2017, Nadda discussed the transition towards a Comprehensive Health Policy. He noted the policy's evolution from focusing solely on curative measures to incorporating preventive strategies, underlining initiatives like the Ayushman Arogya Mandir for quality health evaluation.
Nadda further expressed his appreciation for BJMF's commitment to extending socio, academic, and scientific activities. He congratulated the forum for fostering community outreach and empowering thousands of medical professionals, underscoring the significance of continuous medical education and collaborative discussions at the conference.
