In a shocking turn of events, a student from Presidency College tragically died following a violent incident involving students from Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai. The altercation took place on Wednesday at the Moore Market Complex, a popular spot near the city's Suburban Terminal.

The victim, Sundar, who was pursuing an undergraduate course in political science, succumbed to his injuries at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. The police have already arrested five suspects—Chandru, Yuvaraj, Eshwar, Hari Prasath, and Kamaleshwaran—charging them with murder under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Authorities revealed that Sundar was mercilessly attacked with bare hands, resulting in severe injuries to his ears, neck, and chest. Despite receiving intensive medical care, Sundar could not be saved. The fatal incident has raised serious concerns about student safety and violence among rival colleges.
