This marks the 500th birth anniversary of the revered Rani Durgavati, who once ruled the Gondwana region from this historic location.

The choice of Singrampur is symbolic as it was the capital of Rani Durgavati and her husband, Raja Dalpat Shah. The village is home to the famous Singorgarh Fort and the mausoleum of Dalpat Shah, both key historical sites that the Chief Minister and his cabinet plan to visit as part of the anniversary celebrations.
