Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Tuesday highlighted the importance of digital technology in making state government services more accessible and efficient. He called for creating a statewide digital policy to enhance services, including temple visits and donations.

Agnihotri's remarks were made during the inauguration of a one-day conference on Digital Technology and Governance at the Skill Development Center in Una. He stressed that digital technology could expand job opportunities and improve public services.

The Deputy CM reiterated the need for a unified digital system statewide, particularly for temple-related offerings. Emphasizing better use of technology for governance, he urged tech experts to make these advancements beneficial for the common people.

He also underlined the significance of Lok Mitra Kendras in rural areas to expand digital services, ensuring rural populations benefit equally. He praised HRTC for introducing cashless travel, enhancing convenience for passengers.
