Nalgonda Unit of the Anti-Corruption Branch on Monday arrested 52-year-old Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Chinthapally from the Veterinary Hospital in Chinthapally. Officials reported the medical professional accepted a Rs 6,000 bribe from a complainant to issue health and valuation certificates for eight buffaloes belonging to the complainant and his cousin.
The accused veterinary assistant surgeon has been produced before a court in Hyderabad. Investigations into the matter are continuing.
