The immersion of Lord Ganesha idols began smoothly on Ananta Chaturdashi and continues in Bhopal, marked by stringent safety and cleanliness protocols.

At Prempura Ghat, four large cranes have facilitated the immersion of bigger idols, while a designated 'Kund' handles smaller idols. The district administration has implemented measures to ensure cleanliness, segregating puja materials and preventing people from approaching the pond.

'Special arrangements have been made by the Police administration, PWD, and Bhopal Municipal Corporation at Prempura Ghat,' said Additional Commissioner of Police Chandra Shekhar Pandey. 'Four big cranes and two poclain machines are managing the immersions. Proper barricades ensure public safety,' he added.
