Despite ongoing efforts, including continuous drone surveillance, traps remain empty with no wolves captured in Bahraich in recent days. Forest guard Rishipal confirmed, "Nothing was found during the day's operations, even after drones were flying continuously." Watcher Pitambar and other staff speculated that the wolves may have fled out of fear. The search continues in hopes of locating the remaining wolves.

Authorities in Bahraich have launched a major operation to capture the two remaining wolves believed to be behind recent attacks. Drone footage shows intensified efforts by the forest department to mitigate the threat and calm public fears. According to forest sources, one of these wolves is a lone attacker. Forest Department General Manager Sanjay Pathak stated, "We are working rigorously with 24-hour monitoring of the affected areas." Sheep have replaced goats as bait to potentially change the wolves' behavior, reducing the risk to humans. Pathak also announced that misinformation complicates the search, citing false sightings that divert resources and efforts. Officials may soon consider involving the district administration and police to tackle these disruptive rumors.

Tracking efforts include snap cameras placed around the wolves' habitat to gather data for better planning. In response to the attacks, the Bahraich district administration has set up shelter homes for affected villagers. The Panchayat Bhawan in Chandpaiya has been converted into a temporary shelter, providing safety and basic amenities. The shelter supervisor reported, "Seven to eight people are staying here, with an increase in number as fear and poor home conditions persist. The MLA and panchayat officials are actively involved in their care." Four wolves have been captured so far, and recent drone activity centered around a large agricultural area in Harbaksh Purwa village after a wolf was spotted there.
