BJP West Bengal General Secretary Locket Chatterjee has demanded an investigation against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, alleging that the rape and murder of a trainee doctor was an 'organized crime'. Speaking to ANI on Thursday, Chatterjee accused Kolkata police of disseminating fake news.

'The Chief Minister should be inquired first to unearth the truth. It was an organized crime,' Chatterjee said, adding that Sandip Ghosh, who is connected to high-profile individuals, is involved. Chatterjee questioned why the TMC government sent 21 advocates to the Supreme Court.

BJP national spokesperson Amit Malviya cited a letter dated August 10 from former principal of RG Kar Hospital, Sandip Ghosh, ordering renovation of the site a day after the trainee doctor's murder. Malviya labeled this information 'explosive,' alleging that the West Bengal government and the hospital lied about the renovation date.

Malviya accused the government, hospital administration, and Kolkata Police of colluding to destroy evidence, calling their actions 'evil.' He reiterated calls for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's resignation, claiming that substantial evidence has already been destroyed.

'Mamata Banerjee and Vineet Goyal must undergo a polygraph test to uncover the truth. The movement for justice will continue,' Malviya stated.

The trainee doctor's body was discovered on August 9, sparking protests. A civic volunteer and Dr. Sandip Ghosh have been arrested. The CBI is also involved in the investigation.
