Andaman and Nicobar Command Hosts Maiden ANTech Exhibition and Seminar

The Andaman and Nicobar Command organized its first-ever ANTech exhibition and seminar to foster collaboration between the Defence Industry and the Ministry of Defence. In a significant move to foster collaboration between the Defence Industry and the Ministry of Defence, the Andaman and Nicobar Command, an integrated tri-services command of the Armed Forces, held its inaugural two-day ANTech exhibition and seminar at Port Blair on September 2 and 3.

The event, inaugurated by Air Marshal Saju Balakrishnan, was organized in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM). It aimed to showcase the resolve of the Armed Forces in promoting technological innovations in line with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India) initiative.

Various stakeholders, including Delhi-based defence firm Aimtrex, participated in the event. Aimtrex highlighted their modern indoor shooting ranges and vertical wind tunnels designed for paragliding practice. Meanwhile, Arjun Naik, the Founder and CEO of Bangalore-based Scandron, discussed their expertise in logistics, surveillance, and custom drones. Naik expressed hopes for future collaborations with the Andaman and Nicobar Command.
