In a bid to strengthen bilateral relations, officials from Israel and India convened this week for a seminar focused on enhancing security cooperation and combating drone threats. Held from September 2 to 4 in the national capital, the event drew attendance from high-ranking officials and defence industry representatives.

Throughout the seminar, nine Israeli defence companies showcased state-of-the-art technologies aimed at countering drone threats. Key presentations included Cyber Radio Frequency systems by D-Fend Solutions, Septier, and Sentrycs, which excel in detecting, locating, and neutralizing drones. Other notable mentions were Smart Shooter's intelligent fire control systems, ThirdEye Systems' AI-driven vision, and robotics systems, as well as advanced sensor and radar-based solutions from ELTA Systems, Rafael, Elbit Systems, and Skylock.

The seminar underscored the importance of Israeli technologies in meeting modern security challenges. Amit Satija, Joint Secretary DIP of the Indian Ministry of Defence, emphasized ongoing efforts to foster security cooperation and joint technological advancements. On the second day, a series of business meetings facilitated partnerships between the Israeli and Indian industries. The event concluded with site visits to notable Indian entities, focusing on current and future drone threats.
