Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday praised the bravery of soldiers after they killed nine Naxals during an encounter in the forest at the Dantewada-Bijapur border.
The BJP has been committed to battling Naxalism since taking power, said CM Sai, further emphasizing the ongoing efforts until its complete eradication. This sentiment was echoed in a post on X where the CM reiterated the government's relentless fight.
Moreover, Chhattisgarh Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma noted that the joint operation of the DRG and CRPF in Bijapur and Dantewada regions underscores the advancing peace and development in Bastar. IG Bastar P Sundarraj reported the significant surrender of many Naxals amid multiple operations, and the recovery of arms during the latest encounter.
