The National Security Guard (NSG) commandos executed an extensive series of counter-terrorism mock drills targeting key and vulnerable locations in Kasol and Manali, Himachal Pradesh.

The drills, conducted from August 27 to 28, focused on Counter Terror, Hostage Rescue Operations, and counter-IED procedures in an urban setting. This was confirmed by the office of the Director General of Police.

Planned in collaboration with State Police and Civil Administration, the exercises aimed to enhance coordination and streamline procedures among various responders to efficiently manage terrorist incidents.
