PM Modi to Empower Women at Lakhpati Didi Sammelan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan in Jalgaon, Maharashtra on August 25. The event will boost women's empowerment by awarding certificates to 11 lakh women and launching a Rs. 2,500 crore fund. Modi will also visit Rajasthan for the Rajasthan High Court’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced he will visit Jalgaon, Maharashtra, on August 25 to participate in the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan, a key event aimed at boosting women's empowerment.
During the programme, over 11 lakh 'Lakhpati Didis' will receive certificates, and a Rs. 2,500 crore fund will be launched to benefit women involved in Self Help Groups (SHGs). Additionally, bank loans amounting to Rs. 5,000 crore will be disbursed to aid 2.35 lakh SHGs, impacting 25.8 lakh members.
PM Modi will also travel to Jodhpur in Rajasthan to attend the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court. Since the inception of the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, one crore women have already been empowered, and the government aims to increase this number to three crore.
