In a grand ceremony on Saturday, Ministers P K Sekar Babu and R Sakkarapani inaugurated the two-day 'Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference' in Palani, located in Tamil Nadu's Dindigul district. The event seeks to unite devotees and spread the teachings of Lord Murugan.

Ahead of the conference, Minister Sekhar Babu, along with Dindigul Collector M.N. Poongodi and other officials, inspected the arrangements at Arulmigu Palaniandavar College of Arts and Culture. The venue, including the Shri Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, has been illuminated with vibrant lights.

The conference expects to attract lakhs of attendees from around the globe, including VIPs, scholars, and general devotees. It features seminars, photo exhibits, and 3D exhibitions. The choice of Palani is significant as it is the third abode among Lord Murugan's six sacred locales. The event aims to propagate Murugan's teachings drawn from ancient texts and to engage the youth for a harmonious future. (ANI)
