Upon receiving information, the crime team and district operations unit promptly arrived at the scene. Delhi Police confirmed that an FIR has been lodged under relevant legal provisions, and an investigation is currently in progress.

Preliminary findings suggest that the attackers, after firing multiple shots, fled the scene on the same bike they arrived on. Four empty cartridges were discovered at the site.
