Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has announced a 'GST Analytics Hackathon' aimed at fostering innovation in tax compliance through predictive analytics.
The initiative calls on Indian students, researchers, and professionals from startups and corporations to craft a predictive model for the GST analytics framework, according to a finance ministry statement.
The hackathon boasts a total prize pool of Rs 50 lakh, including Rs 25 lakh for the first prize, Rs 12 lakh for the second, Rs 7 lakh for the third, and Rs 1 lakh in consolation prizes. A special Rs 5 lakh prize will recognize the best performing all-women team.
Spanning 45 days from the start of registration to the final submission of prototypes, participants can register and view detailed guidelines, data sets, and more at https://event.data.gov.in/event/gst-analytics-hackathon/.
