Darsh Dronobotics Systems on Saturday revealed its collaboration with Canada-based Trouvé Innovation Hub Inc. to develop a hydrogen-powered five-seater air taxi.
The partnership focuses on addressing climate change and reducing carbon emissions in the mobility and aviation sectors, as stated by the company.
Vjaitra Air Mobility, a subsidiary of Darsh Dronobotics Systems Pvt Ltd, announced the strategic partnership with Trouvé Innovation Hub Inc. to support India's ambition to lead in the air taxi revolution by 2025.
In this collaboration, Trouvé Innovation Hub will assist Darsh Dronobotics Systems in raising the necessary funds to build a full-scale prototype of the hydrogen air taxi, aiming to redefine urban transportation with an eco-friendly alternative.
Ratandeep Tripathi, CEO of Vjaitra Air Mobility, emphasized that fundraising and innovation support are crucial for bringing the hydrogen-based air taxi to life, aligning with sustainable and cutting-edge transportation solutions.
The air taxis promise quieter flights, zero emissions, and reduced operating costs compared to conventional aircraft. They will cover distances up to 600 kilometers, making travel between major cities viable.
Trouvé Innovation Hub will leverage its extensive network of private investors and institutional support to secure the required funding for the project, accelerating development toward commercialization.
The partnership combines Vjaitra Air Mobility's expertise in drone and aviation technology with Trouvé Innovation Hub's strengths in innovation and investment, creating a powerful synergy to drive the project forward.
