The rally follows Hindenburg's controversial reports on Adani Group and alleged SEBI inaction due to conflicts of interest involving Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch and related offshore funds.

Adani Group and SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch have dismissed Hindenburg's allegations. SEBI urged investors to stay calm, pointing to a disclaimer in Hindenburg's report indicating possible short positions influencing the content. Previously, the All India Bar Association (AIBA) sought a thorough probe into an alleged international conspiracy behind the Hindenburg report, with Congress RS MP Jairam Ramesh demanding a JPC investigation into broader irregularities involving the Adani Group.
