Post Office Superintendent T.P. Singh allegedly died by suicide on Wednesday following a CBI raid at the Bulandshahr Main Post Office in a corruption investigation. The incident occurred in Aligarh, Singh's home district, after the Superintendent was questioned for hours by CBI officials. Singh reportedly took this drastic step and posted a suicide note in WhatsApp groups he was part of.

Singh, who assumed the role of Superintendent in Bulandshahr division, Uttar Pradesh in 2021, left a note detailing his reasons for taking this step. Dated August 21, 2024, the letter addressed to the Senior Superintendent of Aligarh Police, named several office colleagues who he claimed were harassing him and exerting undue pressure. 'There has been constant pressure to get work done and there have been several complaints,' the letter read.

The letter also pointed fingers at specific individuals whom Singh held responsible for his predicament. 'I am fed up with the above-mentioned people after being constantly pressured by them,' Singh added in his note. During the raid, which lasted several hours, CBI officials seized several important documents and interrogated Singh until 4 AM. The Superintendent's note, posted on WhatsApp, quickly went viral, drawing significant attention to the case.
