The Indian contingent clinched six medals at the Paris Games, including a silver medal in Javelin by Sub Maj Neeraj Chopra. This exemplary display marks one of the most remarkable performances by the Indian Army in the Olympic Games, significantly contributing to the nation's overall medal tally.

The Indian Army's Mission Olympic Wing (MOW), established in 2001, continues to foster Olympic excellence by identifying and nurturing young athletes.
