Government Seeks Entrepreneurs for Food Irradiation Units Under PMKSY

The government has invited Expressions of Interest from entrepreneurs to set up multiproduct food irradiation units under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana. Proposals must be submitted online before September 21. Financial assistance in the form of grants and subsidies will be provided to eligible projects under the Cold Chain scheme.

The government has solicited Expressions of Interest (EoI) from entrepreneurs to establish multiproduct food irradiation units as part of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY).

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries has announced that the deadline for submitting EoI proposals is September 21. Aspiring entities should submit their proposals online at the specified portal with the required details.

Eligible projects will receive financial assistance in the form of grants-in-aid or subsidies under the demand-driven Cold Chain scheme. All proposals must adhere to the scheme guidelines and be submitted by the stipulated due date.
