Uttarakhand CM Honours Youths at Pratibha Samman Ceremony

On Saturday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami lauded the achievements of young talents at the Pratibha Samman ceremony organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in Dehradun. During the event, Dhami, accompanied by ABVP office bearers, also engaged in an environmental initiative by planting saplings.
In a social media post, CM Dhami expressed his admiration for the youth, acknowledging their contributions and the values of patriotism fostered by the ABVP. He highlighted the organisation's global reach and its foundation rooted in the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Dhami, who served as the chief guest at the Mahanagar Chhatra Sammelan held at DAV PG College, announced a Rs 1 crore grant for the construction of six new classrooms as part of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Utkrishta Academic Block. He further emphasised ABVP's commitment to student welfare and national interests, citing their involvement in various social initiatives. Dhami also reflected on his own connection with ABVP during his university days and reiterated the state government's dedication to providing transparent and fair opportunities for the youth.
