Hindustan Zinc’s Hefty Contribution to Exchequer Highlights Economic Commitment

Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) announced on Monday a substantial contribution of Rs 13,195 crore to the exchequer for the last financial year, which represents about 46% of its total revenues.
In its regulatory filing, Hindustan Zinc detailed that its total contribution to the exchequer for FY 2023-24 amounted to Rs 13,195 crore. Over the past five years, HZL has made a cumulative contribution of Rs 77,803 crore.
"As our businesses grow, so will these numbers. At Hindustan Zinc, we are committed to continuing to do business with a purpose in a manner that is sustainable, transparent and creates value for all our stakeholders," said Hindustan Zinc Chairperson Priya Agarwal Hebbar.
