Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) announced on Monday a substantial contribution of Rs 13,195 crore to the exchequer for the last financial year, which represents about 46% of its total revenues.

In its regulatory filing, Hindustan Zinc detailed that its total contribution to the exchequer for FY 2023-24 amounted to Rs 13,195 crore. Over the past five years, HZL has made a cumulative contribution of Rs 77,803 crore.
