Nityanand Rai Inspects Security at 12,000 Feet on Indo-Pak Border

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, along with the 78th battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), visited forward posts on the Indo-Pakistan Border in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipura District of Gurez Valley. The minister took stock of the security situation at an altitude of 12,000 feet on Saturday.

Speaking to ANI, Rai said, 'As our Jawans are engaged in guarding the country's borders, that's why countrymen remain safe.' He further added that the paramilitary force has grown stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah. 'Our borders are fully safe and secure, and anyone who tries to infiltrate will receive a befitting reply,' Rai stated.

During the BSF forward post visit in Jammu and Kashmir, Rai interacted with soldiers, shared a meal with them, and reviewed the security preparations. His two-day official visit to Jammu and Kashmir began today.
