According to sources, this gesture on behalf of the Gandhi family comes after business tycoon Mukesh Ambani personally invited the family to the event.

Despite the invitation, no member of the Gandhi family attended the wedding ceremony. Sources confirm there were no restrictions on Congress members attending. Meanwhile, political figures such as SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, TMC President Mamata Banerjee, BJP leader Smriti Irani, and RJD Supremo have all arrived in Mumbai for the celebration.

The wedding, held at the Jio World Convention Centre, showcases a theme titled 'An Ode to Varanasi', highlighting the culture, arts, and cuisine of the ancient city.
