Mihir Shah, the main accused in the Worli hit-and-run case, had consumed alcohol at two locations on the night of the incident, according to Mumbai police sources.

Police revealed that Shah drank at Vice Global Tapas Bar in Juhu and then again between Malad and Borivali before the accident occurred. During interrogation, his driver Rajrishi Rajendra Singh Bidawat confirmed they were at Marine Drive on the day of the incident.

Rajrishi drove the car to Marine Drive, but Shah took over the wheel near Girgaon Chowpatty. Both accused later confessed to their roles and the police recreated the accident scene. Shah was arrested in Virar and is in police custody till July 16. The incident led to the death of a 45-year-old woman and her injured husband questioned the delay in Shah's arrest, alleging political influence.
