"We are running an awareness campaign in which we try to communicate with every person. We tried to make people aware of how the consumption of narcotics destroys society, youth, and their future. There is an entire nexus of it at work which promotes addiction to various things like brown sugar, opium, ganja, and many more," said the CM.

Urging people to make a resolution against narcotics abuse, the CM said, "There must be awareness regarding the sale and consumption of narcotics in the state. We should take resolution against this so that we will stay away from narcotics and lead a happy and healthy life. We have given out information on how it can potentially affect the body. I request you to stay in connection with the administration so that you can report such matters and make Jharkhand and the country free of such addictions." He further emphasised that the campaign started on June 19 will ensure stringent actions against the peddlers to save the youth and Jharkhand free from the drug menace. (ANI)
