Prison Break Season 6 is one of the most anticipated television series since Season 5 dropped its finale on May 30, 2017. This is the reason it has constantly been a trending topic on social media platforms. The avid viewers ardently want to know what the series creators have in their store, more about the cast and when they are planning to air it on Fox.

For several times, Prison Break Season 6 has been hinted under production to satiate fans’ curiosity. The team is basically working to develop a new iteration of the sixth season. Earlier in a media conversation, the series creator, Paul Scheuring said that the plot would likely take the viewers back to the beginning, mainly when the series was first started in August 2005. This was reportedly planned to give the viewers some serious twists in the storyline.

Although the plot for Prison Break Season 6 has not been kept under wraps, Paul Scheuring once said that they could use a story that was planned for Season 5 but was not in use. According to EconoTimes, “Season 6 could tell the story of how Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) might work for the CIA after he was cleared of all the cases and freed from the prison. He will be thankful for the immunity granted to him and may resume being an ordinary person who simply wishes to live a simple life with his wife Sara and their son, Mike Jr.”

But, on the other hand, Michael Scofield is not likely to be endowed with a peaceful life he wants and deserves, as he still may be haunted by his experiences and will continue struggling to live a normal life.

Prison Break Season 6 doesn’t have an official release date. Its filming has been delayed due to the official merging of Disney and Fox. However, the camera is still rolling, as confirmed by Dominic Purcell, who is quite popular for his role in Prison Break as Lincoln Burrows. Recent updates claim that Paul Adelstein, who played the role of Paul Kellerman is joining Chicago PD Season 7.
