During her visit to Odisha, President Droupadi Murmu called on tribal communities to enhance their opportunities by becoming aware of welfare programs through education. Addressing the Bharatiya Biswabasu Sabar Samaj, named after the revered Sabar king Biswabasu, Murmu highlighted the deep connection between tribal culture and environmental preservation.

President Murmu stressed the vital role of education in enabling tribal people to fully access and benefit from government welfare schemes. She noted that these programs could only succeed through public cooperation and participation. Murmu also praised the natural beauty of Nayagarh's Kantilo area, proposing that it could become a prominent tourist destination.

The President also visited the Shree Nilamadhav temple at Kantilo and participated in a Yagna in the village of Sabar Raja Biswabasu. Her activities underscored the cultural and spiritual significance of the region and the importance of infrastructure development to promote tourism and economic growth.
