In a remarkable feat of culinary artistry, Chhappan Bhog, a renowned sweet shop from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has inscribed its name in India's Book of Records for creating the world's largest Gujiya. Weighing an impressive 6 kg and measuring 25 inches in length, this oversized delicacy was unveiled just ahead of the Holi festivities.
The achievement was recognized at an event hosted at Phoenix Palassio Mall, where Chhappan Bhog was honored with the title of producing the largest Gujiya ever recorded. Named 'Baahubali Gujiya,' this massive treat showcases the shop's commitment to preserving India's rich culinary heritage.
Speaking to ANI, Kshitij Gupta, Marketing Head of Chhappan Bhog, celebrated the Gujiya as a symbol of India's cultural unity, intertwining the festivities of Holi, Ramzan, and the nation's cricket triumphs. The intricate recipe, featuring saffron, almonds, and raisins, underscores the artistry and diversity that define Indian culture. Priced at 20,000-25,000 INR, this creation is a testament to the shop's culinary expertise.
