In anticipation of the upcoming Holi festival, security has been significantly ramped up in Indore. The city's police force, alongside the Rapid Action Force (RAF), executed a flag march in the town of Mhow. This initiative aims to maintain law and order and bolster public confidence, ensuring that festivities unfold peacefully.
The local administration has issued a call for citizens to adhere strictly to safety protocols and promptly report any suspicious activities. Given that Holi is celebrated with much exuberance and large gatherings, security agencies are maintaining heightened vigilance. Additionally, officials have announced traffic restrictions and disseminated public safety advisories ahead of Chhoti Holi or Holika Dahan, a celebration signifying the triumph of good over evil.
Meanwhile, Noida police also conducted a similar flag march before Holi and the coinciding 'Jumma Namaz' (Friday prayers). Deputy Commissioner of Police Ram Badan Singh reassured the public of ongoing actions against unruly individuals, ensuring that adequate forces are deployed to prevent disruptions. Uttar Pradesh Police have intensified their security measures, activating intelligence networks, and prioritizing the monitoring of illegal liquor activities to avert possible incidents.
