Maharashtra's Minister Nitesh Rane has officially launched 'Malhar Certification', a platform aimed at certifying 'jhatka' mutton shops exclusively run by members of the Hindu community. The initiative was announced on Monday, with an appeal to the public to support these certified outlets.
According to Minister Rane, the 'jhatka' mutton, which refers to meat obtained from animals slaughtered with a single blow, will be entirely managed by Hindus, reassuring consumers of its purity and lack of adulteration.
The minister emphasized the social and economic benefits of the program, stating that it will contribute to financial empowerment within the Hindu community and encouraged widespread use of Malhar Certification.
