Daring Heist: Armed Robbers Steal Jewels and Cash in Badaun
A jewellery trader named Chandan Maheshwari was robbed at gunpoint in Badaun district, losing cash and ornaments worth over Rs 6 lakh. The incident occurred on Darling Road as Maheshwari was returning home with his son. Police have initiated a probe and filed an FIR.

In a bold heist in Badaun district, a jewellery trader's evening ended in distress as armed robbers attacked, fleeing with cash and ornaments valued over Rs 6 lakh. The police reported on Tuesday about the incident involving Chandan Maheshwari.
Maheshwari, alongside his 10-year-old son, was traveling home from his shop when three motorcycle-borne individuals accosted him on Darling Road. The assailants brandished a firearm, demanding valuables and access to his scooter's storage compartment, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Brajesh Kumar, reported.
The robbers made off with around Rs 3 lakh in cash and jewellery. Despite Maheshwari's resistance, he was threatened with harm. Police have launched an investigation, filing an FIR and are actively pursuing leads based on descriptions provided by Maheshwari.
