Advanced Security Tech to Safeguard Mahakumbh Mela

Uttar Pradesh is gearing up to host the upcoming Mahakumbh Mela with a robust security framework that integrates cutting-edge technology, according to Director General of Police, Prashant Kumar.
Following a strategic meeting with Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, the DGP emphasized that their control room will be equipped with data on approximately 1 million suspicious individuals. Enhanced security measures include the allocation of Rs 180 crore for fire safety, communication, and disaster management.
An Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) will be on high alert during the fair. A real-time misinformation counter-strategy will ensure accurate updates reach audiences swiftly via social media platforms, aided by influencers.
