Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has assured the Hatti community of robust legal support from the Himachal Pradesh government. Speaking at the International Renuka Ji Fair in Sirmaur, he declared the government's swift action in issuing a notification for the community's reservation status.

The announcement came after the government granted Scheduled Tribes (ST) status to the Hatti community, fulfilling all necessary procedures within 12 hours. Sukhu expressed the state government's strong commitment to the region's holistic development, especially in Sirmaur district.

Meanwhile, the CM criticized the former BJP government under Jai Ram Thakur for squandering public funds on political 'freebies'. He emphasized his dedication to aid the underprivileged, heralding the cultural and religious significance of the International Shri Renuka Ji Fair.
