In an exciting revelation for fans of Indian television, veteran actor Mukesh Khanna has announced the return of his iconic character, Shaktimaan. Known as India's original superhero, this character captivated audiences in the late 1990s. Speaking to ANI, Khanna expressed his enthusiasm about reprising the role and emphasized his deep connection to it.

Describing his bond with the beloved superhero, Khanna said, "This is a costume within me, a role that comes from deep inside. Acting as Shaktimaan is all about confidence for me. When I'm in front of the camera, I embody the character effortlessly, which makes this opportunity to return even more thrilling." He highlighted his mission to reach a younger audience, noting, "Today's generation is moving blindly, and guiding them through Shaktimaan is a duty that I cherish."

The announcement was made official on Khanna's Instagram, where he shared a teaser poster and video. The footage features Shaktimaan soaring through the skies and landing in a school, singing about freedom while honoring Indian freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Subhash Chandra Bose. "It's time for him to return," Khanna's post declared, inviting the audience to eagerly anticipate the superhero's comeback. Shaktimaan originally aired in 1997 on Doordarshan, achieving massive popularity and running for over 450 episodes, solidifying its enduring legacy.
