Celebrating Haryana: 59 Years of Heritage and Development

On Friday, Haryana commemorated its 59th foundation day with celebrations led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Saini emphasized the state's growth since its establishment in 1966, wishing its citizens a prosperous future.

Prime Minister Modi joined in the celebration, recognizing Haryana's rich heritage and ongoing contributions to India's overall development. In his messages, he also extended congratulations to other states marking their formation day, including Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Chhattisgarh.

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala reflected on Haryana's historical significance, mentioning its role in spiritual teachings through the Bhagavad Gita and honoring its soldiers and athletes who have elevated the state and ensured the country's security. Haryana's agricultural success was also lauded for its contribution to national self-sufficiency in food grains.
