Ayodhya's eighth Deepotsav saw a dazzling display of 25,12,585 diyas set along the Saryu river, setting two world records. The event, led by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, marked the first festival of lights since the Ram Lalla temple's consecration in January.

Beyond the illumination spectacle, the festival witnessed the highest number of people performing 'aarti' simultaneously, as declared by Guinness World Records. Adityanath emphasized the occasion's significance, stating Ayodhya as a testament to a 'double-engine government' and a sign of the heritage transformation envisioned for Kashi and Mathura by 2047.

The Deepotsav, featuring regional artists and stunning cultural displays, showcased India's diverse traditions. More than 30,000 volunteers contributed to this event, elevating Ayodhya's cultural heritage on a global stage as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.
