Bollywood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, incarcerated for over four months in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, was released from Ballari prison after the Karnataka High Court sanctioned interim bail, citing medical reasons.
Granting him six weeks of bail, Justice S Vishwajith Shetty outlined multiple conditions, including a personal bond of two lakhs and confiscation of Darshan's passport. The court also directed him to seek immediate medical attention for his spine surgery.
