Tragic Loss in Airstrike: Journalists Killed in Lebanon
An Israeli airstrike targeted a journalists' compound in southeast Lebanon, resulting in the tragic deaths of three media staffers. Al-Mayadeen TV confirmed two deaths from its team, while Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV reported the loss of camera operator Wissam Qassim in the Hasbaya region.

An Israeli airstrike in southeast Lebanon struck a compound where journalists were stationed, leading to the deaths of three media staffers, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency.
The Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen TV reported on Friday that two of its staff members were among those killed. Meanwhile, Al-Manar TV, operated by Hezbollah, confirmed that their camera operator, Wissam Qassim, was also a victim of the attack in the Hasbaya region. This area had previously avoided much of the border conflict.
The victims from Al-Mayadeen included camera operator Ghassan Najar and broadcast technician Mohammed Rida, both of whom were working in the high-risk zone.
