In a prominent showcase for global cinema, the 13th Dharamshala International Film Festival is set to commence with the critically acclaimed film ''All We Imagine As Light''. This Cannes Grand Prix winner, directed by Kapadia, highlights a poignant narrative following Kerala nurses in Mumbai.

Running from November 7-10, the festival promises a rich tapestry of over 80 films, covering narrative features, documentaries, and short films with a strong representation of stories from South Asia. Rima Das and Anirban Dutta feature among the celebrated filmmakers contributing to this cinematic fest.

Besides film screenings, the festival fosters crucial dialogues on themes such as political unrest and cultural identity, echoed by films like ''MA – Cry of Silence'' from Myanmar and Rashid Masharawi's ''From Ground Zero''.
