Renowned performers Paula Abdul and Eddie Griffin are set to star in the upcoming action-comedy film 'Raging Midlife,' The Hollywood Reporter reveals. The movie, directed by Rob Taylor and penned by Nic Costa, shares a light-hearted narrative involving a wrestling memorabilia piece. Joining the duo in the cast is 'Star Trek' icon Walter Koenig.

The film will make its debut at the Austin Film Festival on October 26, with plans for a wide release in early 2025. 'Raging Midlife' tells the story of two avid friends captivated by 1980s wrestler, Raging Abraham Lincoln, as they endeavor to secure his legendary tank top. The plot thickens when a grieving daughter ousts them in the bid, aiming to honor her father's last wish.

Additional cast members include Matt Zak, Bryna Smith, Darielle Mason, Motch O Mann, and Judy Levitt. Nic Costa takes on producing duties, with Luke Haigh and Joe Costa serving as executive producers. Expressing excitement about the project, Costa mentioned the rewarding partnership with Level 33 Entertainment and their eagerness to present this emotive, comedic journey to audiences across North America.
