In a landmark deal, Adar Poonawalla-led Serene Production has agreed to invest Rs 1,000 crore in Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Dharmatic Entertainment. This significant investment grants Serene Production a 50 percent stake, marking a new chapter for the iconic film house.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the partnership, Adar Poonawalla stated, "I am delighted to partner with one of the most iconic production houses in our nation, alongside my friend Karan Johar. We hope to grow Dharma and reach even greater heights." Karan Johar retains a 50 percent stake and continues as Executive Chairman, with Apoorva Mehta remaining Chief Executive Officer.
