Controversy on Dil-Luminati: A Dancer's Departure from Dosanjh's European Tour

A backup dancer based in London, Shilpa Sajan, has voiced her grievances about the handling of the European leg of Punjabi icon Diljit Dosanjh's 'Dil-Luminati Tour'. Citing 'unprofessional and disrespectful' behavior from the management, Sajan has decided to step back from the tour.

In a post on her Instagram, Lateafternoonthoughts, Sajan claimed she faced unprofessional conduct, drawing attention to allegations from Dosanjh's previous US tour about unpaid dues, which were previously denied by the singer's manager. She highlighted that dancers were offered just 80 GBP for the entire tour and had to bear travel and accommodation costs themselves.

Dismissing these claims, a source close to the team labeled them as 'baseless and untrue.' As the European leg concludes, Dosanjh is poised to kick off his 'Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024' in October.
