Alfonso Cuaron and Cate Blanchett, both Oscar winners, team up in the new television series "Disclaimer," a psychological thriller designed to make audiences rethink their judgments. Based on Renee Knight's novel, the seven-part show is brought to life by Cuaron, who also serves as creator, writer, director, and producer.

The plot centers on Catherine Ravenscroft, played by Blanchett, a reputable documentary-maker caught in turmoil when a book surfaces, revealing hidden secrets from her past. The book's author, a retired teacher named Stephen, portrayed by Kevin Kline, seeks to expose her story, threatening her reputation and personal relationships.
