Ratan Tata, aged 86, breathed his last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at 11:30 pm on Wednesday. The Padma Vibhushan awardee had been admitted to the hospital for several days before his demise, causing a wave of sorrow across the country.
Emphasizing his monumental contributions, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee highlighted Tata's role as a leader in Indian industries and philanthropy. Similar sentiments were echoed by CMs from Jharkhand, Odisha, and Bihar, reflecting on Tata's visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to ethical business practices.
